Do we have any graduates currently attending B-school? I am interested in applying to B-school this year. I am interested in getting information about Schools, Interviews, Application, etc.

I'm not currently attending a B-school, but I have an Executive MBA and am an Assistant Professor. If you think I can help, give me a holler.

There are almost always graduates attending business school. To get in touch with them you can usually go to the school's admissions office and ask to speak with their Minority Admissions Officer. Many MBA programs (especially those ranked in the top 20) have someone dedicated solely to minority recruitment. The Minority Admissions Officer is usually very happy to put you in touch with people (i.e. old grads) that can help you learn about the school, program, etc. Be sure not to go in there "cold" though, as they will be quietly evaluating you and will ultimately be responsible for advocating on your behalf if you decide to move forward and apply. At a minimum you should be able to discuss why you are interested in pursuing an MBA, Why Now?, and The type of career that you are looking for. Below are some really good resources to help you demystify the process, get into the school of your choice, and hopefully get the program paid for (i.e. fellowships). www.ml4t.orgwww.cgsm.org/www.toigofoundation.org/Hope you found this helpful, and good luck!
