IBM WebSphere Sales Specialist responsible for an assigned territory in the Federal DoD/Intel business unit (DC Metro based). Sales reps are expected to aggressively find new opportunities and work them to closure utilizing the extended IBM team on defense and intelligence community accounts. The WebSphere product portfolio is a highly complex offering with target customers in IT and Line-of-Business. Excellent communications skills are required to sell at all levels of the organization. Sales process involves the ability to understand customer requirements, develop a solution, create a compelling proposal, and sell the business value. 3-5 years sales experience with individual quota is preferred. DoD or intelligence agency security clearance highly desirable. Salary range 80K-100K with commission potential much higher. (www.ibm.com/websphere)
